The two Chinese characters on the jade porcelain tea caddy mean “spring buds tea”.
The best way to keep your tea fresh is a tea caddy made of porcelain or clay.
“Jade Porcelain”, translated from the Chinese name “yu zhi ci”, literally reads “jade mutton-fat porcelain”. It is featured by the soft-white texture and luster thanks to the “yu zhi” clay, originated in Dehua, a well-known porcelain city in southern Fujian.
The tea jar contains 100 – 150 g of tea (depending on tea sorts).
